SWITCHBOARD
Easy-tronic features
The EASY-TRONIC modular system enabled our designers to develop a framework (system) innovative and reliable microprocessor.
This system allows delegation to peripheral coprocessors the task of activating the respective inputs and outputs; in this application each node of the system is connected with a simple two-wire cable. The serial communication system which is used between the cabin cards and the control panel is based on the CAN (Controller area network). The Protocol follows the rules ISO 11898-1 for low speed transmissions (up to 125 kbit/sec), high level of immunity to noise and to cover longer distances (up to 500m).
The configuration CAN is multi master. In other words the unit that needs to send information takes possession of the bus signal and sends its information which is received and decoded by the receiving units. If more than one unit takes over the bus automatically the priority message is assigned. If a check produces a negative result the message will be repeated.
